Some foods act as natural abrasives and help clean teeth by removing surface stains, such as celery, apples and carrots that make your teeth look cleaner, vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach, contain mineral compounds that form a film on the surface of the teeth, and act as a barrier to staining foods.

FOOD YOU MUST AVOID

SODIUM BICARBONATE

Sodium bicarbonate is used to clean and lighten stains, and makes them look whiter; the baking soda can cause tooth sensitivity in teeth, so just brushing with baking soda once a week.

LEMON WITH SALT

The lemon has an acid base that makes it suitable for removing stains from the teeth. Form a paste with lemon juice and a pinch of salt, and rub the teeth with the mixture, to remove dark spots. The disadvantage is that you should not use it too often, since its acidic properties can damage the tooth enamel; use it once a week.

ORANGE PEEL

Orange peel is a popular remedy that is used as a whitening agent to lighten teeth. You should rub the inside of the orange peel on the teeth to remove dark spots.

VINEGAR

White vinegar and apple cider vinegar also contain natural whitening agents, which can remove stains from teeth , but you should use once a week, since prolonged use can damage tooth enamel.
